The drink was called the "Shanghai Mufti" and it was a legend back in Redmond. It was a concoction made by Kyle Smith (in yellow) and the bartender at this place named Mufti. If I remember right, it consisted of Lychee, Bombay Gin, Tonic Water and a Lemon. As primarily a beer and wine only drinker back then it was unusual for me to have "hard alcohol", but I enjoyed experiencing something new - especially given its legendary status!
