Lots of lanes and often times comical driving moves, but generally the only accidents I saw were typically with cars hitting foreign pedestrians that thought too much when crossing the street. In Shanghai, you just walk and commit to what you are doing with no hesitation and you'll be fine. Pause and you'll get hit!
