This intersection would get so crowded sometimes that you couldn't even see the ground, yet buses would blast through it at 45mph. Surprisingly people would notice it and adjust their pace as the bus flew through seemingly having a close call with dozens of people. I saw it time and time again and thought that in the US that bus driver would be arrested and most certainly someone would get killed.
